    • We always encourage pick ups for our cakes! Pick-ups are available from our store for pre-ordered cakes, just follow our location on Google maps to find us.

      Please note that once your cake has been collected it is advisable to drive it in an air-conditioned vehicle, on the flattest surface, i.e the floor of the passenger seat or in the boot (not on a lap), AC directed fully at the cake.

      Please do not send two wheeler/ non AC pick ups for the cake, they do not suit our products.

    • BOBO Cakes are best eaten within 48 hours of receiving for optimal freshness. We recommend serving fresh fruit and/or floral cakes the day you receive it to enjoy them at their freshest.

      Once your cake has been collected or delivered, please store it safely in the fridge until the recommended time prior to serving, which should be indicated on the packaging.

      No one likes cold cake!😠

      As a general rule – on cold days take out the cake 3-6 hours before cutting, on hot days take out 40-70 mins before cutting so that cake can come to room temperature. Please make a judgement call though – if it’s really hot rather be safe than sorry. The cake will react to heat as butter would so keep that in mind!

      It’s really important that you bring the cake to room temperature before serving (do not microwave to do this). Make sure you keep it away from any form of heat or direct sunlight.

      Leftover cake freezes really well too, just FYI! Use an air tight box for the same.

    • Our website cut off is 2 days for cake pre-orders. On most days, we can accommodate same day orders too. Just ping us on our WhatsApp or call us for the same on +91 8130494124.

    • Our delivery is via a third party app, we do not have an in-house delivery system as bulk deliveries do not suit our intricately designed cakes. 

      We highly recommend pick-ups but if you opt for Uber delivery, please know that such deliveries will work with some constraints.

      Cakes above 2kgs and tiered cakes are available only for store pick ups.

    • We offer eggless, vegan and gluten free options for purchase on this website.

      However, we work in a kitchen that uses nuts and nut products, wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs, and soy. If you have a severe allergy to any of the above please do be sure to inform us. 

      We will try our best to not let your order get in contact with the allergen but we cannot guarantee this – ordering from us is entirely at your own risk.

    • At BOBO we take immense pride in hand crafting every component, from the base cake to all the decor elements in-house. Buttercream colours are hand mixed with edible gel colours/powders hence a slight variation should be expected in the final cake frosting and piping. The colours shown on mobile/web can also change with screen resolution and clarity. Website images are also edited for hygiene which can slightly alter the perception of colour.

      Bright or neon colours are not possible in buttercream. We advise against dark colours like bright red, dark blue or black as it takes a lot of gel colour. Should you plan to go ahead with such a cake, please know that it’ll leak coloured water (condensation) and cake surface will be discoloured.

      All decorative elements we put onto our cakes, from natural flowers and glitter to gold leaf are non-toxic and not harmful to humans; decorations like gold leaf and glitters in particular are safe to use on cakes for decorative purposes only, consumption will not harm a person but it cannot be classified as “edible” since it is not a food.

    • Our floral, piping and illustration work is all hand work, there is absolutely no way to guarantee the same placement, colour scheme and formations. The effort put in and density of the flowers would be the same. 

      Please consider your cake as an artist commission, and allow us to exercise our artistry. We promise the same vibe as the reference image though!

      The product image on our website may be of a different size (in kgs) or height/width(in cake sponge diameter), or flavour (chocolate cakes have less diameter than vanilla cakes, vanilla cakes generally have more height than chocolate cakes in the same kgs) hence we will adapt your chosen design to your chosen flavour and kgs according to our understanding, without cross checking with you. Please specify if you are particular about more/less work on the final cake, and we will send you the total amount accordingly.

    • We like to keep it natural + simple and we love to use only in-house elements, which is why we don't cover our cakes in the traditional way with fondant. We instead opt to use buttercream to crumb coat and frost our cakes.

      We sometimes use fondant to create texture or figurines, reach out to us over WhatsApp for your custom fondant work and we'll see if that fits our design language ☺️

    • We work with our partner farms to source the freshest organic edible flowers and decoration flowers for our cakes.

      Edible flowers are categorically edible (like dianthus, cosmos, nasturtium etc) but do not have a legit taste of their own. Due to their delicate nature, they cannot be washed and might have some tiny soil remnants/or tiny insects at their base. The edible flowers used change with season and as per what is available with the farmers, however we will keep the density same as the reference image.

      The decorative flowers (like rose, cala lily etc) used on the cakes are sourced specially from atelier florists and are pesticide free. They are attached to the cake using a flower tape to keep the stems away from the cake. These are not fit for consumption, please remove them while cutting the cake.

    • Regular 1kg and 2kg cakes can be cancelled 30 hours in advance, we would be reserving 100% of the order value otherwise.

      Tier cakes/large cakes can be cancelled upto 2 days in advance, we would be cutting a 10% of the order value for date blocking. If cancelled beyond 2 days, we would be reserving 100% of the order value.
